Carjacking Suspect In Court Monday

A 27 year old man arrested for assaulting a man near his West Valley home last month was in court Monday. Justin Stewart was charged with first degree robbery in the January 19th attack. The 46 year old victim was found in the street in front of his home on South 81st avenue. He's now recovering at a Yakima hospital. Police say he was assaulted and his vehicle was stolen. The suspect is being held in the county jail.
