Carjacking Suspect Expected To Be Charged

Yakima Police say they have enough evidence to ask the prosecutor to charge a 24 year old man with robbery in last weeks robbery and assault of a 46 year old man near his home on South 81st Avenue. Police say the suspect is being held in the County jail and will be charged this week. The 46 year victim who was robbed of his wallet and car early last Wednesday morning remains in critical condition at a Yakima hospital. Police haven't been able to speak to him to find out what happened but they belive he was run over and assaulted in the robbery.
