Sweet Candy memories

And there are a few other places around that feature candy including Party Place in Union Gap and Hobby Lobby on South First.
I like the vintage chocolate gold coins, drawstring bag gold gum and the fake soda in the little waxy bottles from Hobby Lobby and daughter Kate does too!  My childhood revisited, her childhood shared!  But there was nothing going on in the candy kingdom of my youth like there is today!.

Back then I had to scrape up every penny and nickel I could find in order to enjoy, banana gum cigars, rootbeer barrels, fake candy cigarettes, pixie stix, sweethearts, sour cherries, fruit stripe gum, and Brach's Neapolitan Coconut Sundaes!

Today, instead of collecting pop bottles for change,  you could be paid big bucks to be an official candy taster!

The Candy Offer You Can't Refuse

Candy Funhouse, an online, Canada-based candy store, is hiring a taste tester — the world’s first chief candy officer — at a salary of $100,000 a year.

Sounds like a pretty sweet gig, doesn't it?  The specific job duties of the CCO (Chief Candy Officer) are to lead the "FUNhouse" candy strategy, run the candy board meetings, taste test the more than 3,500 products a month, and give Stamp of Approval.

How Do I Get The Job

Hard requirements - a creative mind, natural-born leader, sweet tooth, fluent in English....and you only have to be 5 years old or older and live in North America to apply.

The deadline to apply is August 31.
