**California state ag officials have recalled raw milk from a Central Valley dairy after tests found the bird flu virus in a bulk sample of its milk.

State officials warned residents not to consume milk from Valley Milk Simply Bottled because it could lead to infection with this rare, emerging flu virus.

No illnesses have been reported.

It’s the second raw milk recall in California in two weeks.

**The National Pork Producers Council is disappointed Congress decided to relinquish their responsibility and produce a new Farm Bill and an overdue federal solution for California’s Prop 12.

NPPC President Lori Stervermer says after years of losing money and-or going out of business, pork producers don’t have the luxury of waiting for Congress to pass a new Farm Bill next year, adding, we needed the certainty to make decisions yesterday.

**U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai says the U.S. has prevailed in its dispute under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement challenging Mexican biotech measures on GE corn imports.

The USMCA panel agreed with the U.S. on all seven legal claims, finding Mexico’s measures banning imports of GMO corn from the U.S. were not based on sound science and undermined the market access Mexico agreed to.

Mexico has 45 days to comply with the Panel’s findings.
