Brush Fire Happens Within City Limits

Someone using a grinding tool sent sparks into a field in the 5 hundred block of North 8th Street yesterday afternoon. The sparks started a brush fire that caught a nearby home on fire. Firefighters were able to stop the flames in the attic before it spread throughout the home. No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at 15 thousan dollars.
