Body Of Woman Found In East Selah

The Yakima County Sheriff's office is investigating murder after a woman's body was found in East Selah on Wednesday morning. Detectives say a property owner found the body of 54-year-old Norma Emmerson early Wednesday near the 1000 block of Sage Trail Road. Authorities are searching for a suspect Today. They say Emmerson died of a head injury. Detectives found a vehicle at the Yakima Red Apple Motel on North First Street that they say belonged to a friend of Emmerson. They're searching the vehicle for evidence and talking to Emmerson's freinds but so far no arrests have been made.
