Body Found Near Toppenish Investigation Underway

Yakima County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the discovery of a body along Highway 97 near Toppenish. Authorities say there's no information on the identity of the person or how the person died. The body was found at about 11:00 a.m. in water near a bridge along the highway about 6 miles south of Toppenish. An investigation continues Today.
