Blossom Festival At The Yakima Museum A Great Time For Families

Children’s Underground at the Yakima Valley Museum is throwing a party!

The 5th annual Blossom Festival will be rocking the Yakima Valley Museum and its Children’s Underground this Friday, May 6^th, from 5 to 8 p.m.  Families are invited to enjoy hands-on activities booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations featuring games and live performances, Mother’s Day craft projects and  free family-friendly food.

Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite storybook characters and to bring along a new or like new storybook as entry into a raffle for prizes.  The books will later be donated to a local charity

Admission into the Blossom Festival is $10 per adult, $5 per child, and no more than $25 per family.  Tickets can be purchased at the Yakima Valley Museum’s front desk, located at 2105 Tieton Drive, or on the day of the event at the door.  All proceeds go directly to the non-profit Children’s Underground fund .
