You can't have it both ways.  Or can you. Conservative author, blogger, commentator Bill Whittle explains the difference between being a carrier or a publisher of content.  The two are not the same and are required to operate under different rules.

Google says it's a carrier and not responsible for content but when google makes decisions to direct and control what you can and can't see, well, then they are acting as a publisher which is one reason Whittle says the monopoly needs to be broken up.

Watch and see if you don't agree.
