Big Wolf Mini Mart Near Wapato Robbed Thursday

A robbery was reported at about 7:20 last night at the Big Wolf mini mart at the corner of South Camas Ave and US Hwy 97, just outside the city limits of Wapato. A news release from the Yakima County Sheriff's office says two men wearing masks entered the store, one of the suspects was armed with a rifle and the other had a crowbar. The release says "after getting the money, the two employees were ordered to the back store-room.  One of the employees had their hands bound and the other employee was in the process of having their hands bound when a random customer entered the store." That's when the suspects fled the store. No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
