Betterall Auto Sales Hoping Not to Become Victim of COVID-19
Yakima small business owners are discouraged that Governor Inslee isn't planning on reopening the economy in early May. Instead the Governor says he'll continue to monitor the situation with health experts hoping for a mid May re-opening. That doesn't help business owners like Doug Betterall owner of Betterall Auto Sales in Yakima. Betterall says it doesn't make sense why people can line up at large department stores but he can't sit six feet away from someone and sell them a car. Betterall says sales have been flat for more than 36 days and that's nearly put him out of business. Betterall, however says he has been able to secure a loan to keep the business open for the next 40 to 50 days. Now he says he's hoping to get back to business as soon as possible and sell cars.
