Attempted Home Invasion In Yakima. Shots Fired Into Front Door.

Yakima Police say an attempted home invasion in the 7 hundred block of South 45th Avenue happaned at about 11:30last night. Officers say a 30 year old resident reported hearing voices outside. Then someone knocked on the door of the home asking to get inside. When the resident told the suspects to leave the suspects began kicking the door. Police say they then fired 2 shots into the door. The resident suffered an abrasion and was treated at the scene. The suspects fled.
