ATM Crash Yakima Woman Hurt

Yakima Police say a woman was knocked to the ground after the driver of a vehicle stepped on the gas thinking the vehicle was in reverse...but it wasn't. It happened near the Chase bank ATM at 3rd Street and Yakima Avenue on saturday afternoon. Yakima Firefighters were at the summer kickoff party using spray hoses for a demonstration so they were able to help her. The woman was taken to a yakima hospital with non life thretening injuries.
