The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has been called to assist with an investigation into a fire reported Thursday morning in Yakima. Crews from the Yakima Fire Department responded to the fire at about 4:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Gordon Road. When they arrived they found a large stack of apple bins on fire near a warehouse. According to a news release from the fire department about 200 bins were burned by the fire. The cause remains under investigation. ATF investigators are searching for answers along with investigators from the Yakima Fire Department.
