The arrest of a 45 year old man caught looking at women in the Yakima Valley Regional Library in downtown Yakima earlier this month wasn't easy. Police say the investigation was challenged by the library staff who wanted to protect privacy of those at the library. An article in today's Yakima Herald Republic Newspaper says the staff at the library refused to cooperate with detectives when a woman at the library reported the man peaked under a bathroom stall while she was there. The article says the 45 year old man was finally caught and was sentenced to 45 days in jail Thursday. Jose Luis Vazquez pleads guilty to a charge of voyeurism.
