The Yakima County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection with the murder of a homeless Yakima woman found in east Selah on Wednesday. A 56-year-old man, described as the victims ex-boyfriend is now in custody on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. Detective Sgt. Mike Russell tells KIT News the investigation isn't over. "We continue to talk to people of interest. People who might know more about this crime and the person responsible." Detectives are also talking with others that were found at the Red Apple Motel in Yakima where the suspect car was found. The body of Norma Emmerson was found in the 1000 block of Sage Trail Road Wednesday morning.
