Yakima Federal Extends Scholarship Deadline to April 24

Yakima Federal Savings and Loan has announced an extension of the application deadline for its prestigious Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

The new deadline is April 24, giving graduating seniors more time to apply for a share of up to $217,500 in total funding this year. The program offers individual scholarships of $2,500 to eligible students residing in Yakima, Kittitas, Benton, or Franklin counties. This initiative aims to recognize and reward top academic achievement, leadership, and character among the community’s youth.

GRADUATING SENIOR? YOU CAN APPLY TODAY

To qualify, applicants must be in the top 10% of their graduating class and demonstrate high moral character, industriousness, and ambition. The scholarship program is inclusive, welcoming home-schooled students who meet the academic criteria.
