Annual Cattle Drive Saturday on State Route 821

The Yakima River Canyon will be congested this weekend not with cars but with cows. Saturday is the annual Eaton Family cattle drive that moves hundreds of cattle from grazing land in Selah to their home on Eaton ranch. The 200 cattle will make the trek starting at the Roza Recreational area and ends 6 miles North at the ranch.
The drive is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8.

Drivers can expect long delays on State Route 821.
Drivers are urged to use I-82 during the cattle drive.
