American Idol Sends First Finalist Home

I kind of predicted this myself, after Ashton Jones got the wildcard save last week.

America has brought their finalist home as Ashton Jones was named as the first of the thirteen finalists who would not be coming back next week.

The Nashville native got the fewest number of viewers’ votes at the first elimination on the Fox's American Idol 2011.

Jones has earlier got the nod of the Idol judges who was compared by media, to popular singer, Diana Ross at the early stage of the competition. 

Before she was named as the first to go, Jones admitted that she may have made a wrong choice of song, saying she could have selected a more popular Ross tune.
With Jones at the bottom three were  Karen Rodriguez of New York and Hailey Reinhart of Wheeling, Illinois.
