**Cattle ranchers are being encouraged to set up Twitter accounts and let the President know about the growing frustration with low cattle prices while beef packers reap large profits.

According to agweb.com, Public Auction Yards general manager, Joe Goggins is behind the grassroots campaign, that begins today, is seeking the support of President Trump and his assistance in “rebalancing the cattle markets.”

Goggins says the Twitter campaign is aimed at the President’s account, @realDonaldTrump and urges the hashtag, #FairCattleMarkets.

**The coming season's navel orange harvest will be slightly smaller, according to a preseason crop forecast.

According to the California Farm Bureau Federation, estimators say California farmers will harvest enough navel oranges to fill 76 million 40-pound cartons, down 7 percent from last year.

The vast majority of the oranges will come from the San Joaquin Valley.

California leads the nation in orange production.
