**The 2019 National Agricultural Statistics Service report shows internet and computer access are far from universal on American farms with only 75% having access to the internet and just 73% having access to a laptop or desktop computer.

According to modernfarmer.com, the states with the lowest rates of access to a computer are Arizona, South Carolina, and New Mexico. States with the highest rate are California, Washington, and Wyoming.

**Mother Nature delivered more large lemons than normal this season thanks to extra rain, and as a result, California-based Limoneira has lowered its forecast for the year.

The company now estimates an operating loss of $500,000 to $3 million for 2019, compared to the previous expectation for operating income from $7.5 million to $12.5 million.

CEO Harold Edwards tells thepacker.com, the larger lemons were selling at well below normal pricing, so we had to turn about 50% of our fresh lemons into juice, for lower revenue.

 

**MillerCoors has won another legal victory in its fight with Anheuser-Busch over corn syrup in beer.

Agrimarketing.com reports, a federal judge in Wisconsin has issued a preliminary injunction barring Anheuser Busch from using the phrase "No Corn Syrup" on its Bud Light beer packaging.

The same judge issued an earlier injunction preventing Anheuser-Busch from using marketing suggesting MillerCoors uses corn syrup in the final production of its light beers.
