We brought this to your attention before but now there are numbers to back it up. In case you’ve missed it, adults have recently gone crazy over coloring. Not hair coloring but the crayon kind of coloring!  And they’re not reaching for their kid’s coloring books, instead opting for the intricate designs of adult coloring books. If you look at Amazon’s bestsellers list you’ll even see the top slots are taken by adult coloring books. Today’s current craze can be traced back to 2013 when Scottish illustrator Johanna Basford published “Secret Garden.” The coloring book had an initial printing of 16,000 copies, but has since exploded into an international bestseller, selling nearly six million copies—with 4 million selling in the past five months alone.

Phenomenon observers say more people are looking for things that are unplugged. And it’s something that a lot of generations can agree on--even psychologists agree that the simple act of coloring in the lines can help reduce stress and enhance focus and creativity. (Yahoo)
