The Yakima Farmers Market was a busy place on Sunday as people search for their favorite fruits and vegetables. Manager Don Eastridge says it's been a busy year and the market is now getting close to wrapping up another season. Eastridge says "October 26  will be the last market this year." He says while he won't have final sales numbers for another month he believes sales are up over last year because the market was able to expand into another block downtown this year. He says now is the time to visit the market if you're looking for anything fresh and local. Eastridge says "All the fruits and vegetables are in everything is at it's peak right now."
Eastridge says he's talking with city officials about changes that may happen with the market in 2015 maybe even creating a indoor winter farmers market.
