The upcoming holiday season can be difficult for people who have lost loved ones in recent times. Maybe this event can help put thoughts and memories in perspective to help insure some joy in the days ahead.

The public is invited to gather with others for a candlelight memorial ceremony, music and food as a way to remember loved ones who have died in the past year.

The event will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, at The Harman Center, 101 N. 65th Ave., Yakima. It is provided, at no charge, by The Memorial Foundation and The Harman Center.
