15-Year-Old Murder Suspect Arrested On Tip From Crime Stoppers
Yakima Police have arrested a 15-year-old Yakima teen in connection with a October fatal gang related shooting. Luis Enrique Medina-Beltran was arrested at a Yakima apartment after a tip from Yakima County Crime Stoppers for the shooting death of 17-year-old Napolean Prado. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says Prado was walking in the 300 block of South 7th Street when a vehicle stopped near Prado and shots were fired. Prado died at the scene. Medina-Beltran is being held in the Yakima County Juvenile jail facing a charge of first degree murder.
