You’re Invited To Tour Yakima Schools During Focus On Education Week

In recognition of Washington State’s “Focus on Education Week” (November 13-19), community members are invited to join Superintendent Elaine Beraza on Tuesday, November 15, for an inside look at Yakima Public Schools. The group will board a school bus and spend the morning touring Adams Elementary School and Davis High School. The tour begins at 8:30 a.m. at the district’s Central Services, 104 North 4th Avenue, and concludes at noon at the same location.

Patron tours are the best way to find out what’s new in our schools. Participants will visit classrooms at each of the schools and be able to watch student learning in action. Both schools illustrate the district’s commitment to preparing all students for college, work and life.
