Your Chance To Talk About The 2012 County Budget Coming Next Month

The Yakima County Commissioners on Tuesday adopted a 2012 preliminary general fund budget of 51 million dollars. But it won't be officially adopted until after 2 public hearings so the commissioners can hear what you think about the numbers. Two hearings are set for next month. November 8th at 10:30 in the morning at Yakima City Hall and November 10th at 7pm also also at city hall. The commissioners plan to formally adopt the 2012 budget on November 29th.
