CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN, Wash. (AP) — A ski patrol official says a young woman has survived an avalanche on Washington's Crystal Mountain resort. Ski patrol director Paul Baugher says the woman was buried for 10 to 15 minutes yesterday afternoon before searchers probing the snow with metal poles found and freed her. He says she was checked by a doctor and is fine. Two young men skiing with her were partially buried but dug themselves out.
