2 teens were arrested in a shooting that happened in an alley near 9th Street and MLK Blvd. yesterday afternoon. Police say a 30 year old gang member was walking in the area when he was approached by 2 teens who police say are also gang members. The teens fired shots at the man but he was not injured. A short time after the shooting police arrested a 13 year old and a 17 year old who were both armed at the time of the arrest. A short time before that shooting another shooting was reported in the area of 7th and Chestnut near Davis High School. A car window was shot out and someone was hit by flying glass but no arrests were made. Police don't know of the two shootings are connected.
