Yakima police have released the name of a man who was shot early this morning on North 1st Street.

 

Yakima Police responded to a gunshot victim at North 1st Street and East F Street at about 12:30am  this morning.   Officers found the victim still seated in his vehicle and suffering from a gunshot wound to his left arm below his shoulder.  Paramedics tended to his injury and transported him to a local hospital for treatment.  His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

 

The victim told police that he was just driving around the area when he heard a gunshot and felt pain in his arm.

 

This afternoon, Yakima Police released the victim's name as 40 year old Ramon Espinoza of Pasco.
