Yakima Woman Struck, Killed By Vehicle Saturday

An 80-year-old Yakima woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night, city police report.

Asencion Flores walked into traffic and was hit by a car in the area of East Mead and Ledwich avenues, according to Yakima Police. The accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m.

Flores, who was walking with a walker when she was hit was taken to a Yakima hospital, where she died. Police did not cite the driver.
