Yakima Woman Hit By Car In Critical Condition

A 28 year old woman was listed in critical condition last night after being hit by a car in the 21 hundred block of West Lincoln. Yakima Police say the woman was quote "extremely" intoxicated when she tried to cross the road and was struck in the eastbound lanes. Authorities say she was asked to leave a nearby bar just before the accident reported at about 11:30 last night. The 32 year old driver was not cited or injured. An investigation continues today.
