Friday on the Morning News we’ll have a conversation with somebody from Sweden.  We say “somebody” since we aren’t exactly sure who’ll be on the other end of the line and here’s why. The Swedish Tourist Association has announced "The Swedish Number," an initiative allowing people anywhere outside Sweden to call the designated number -- 301 276 0600 if you're calling from the U.S.-- and be connected with a random Swede who volunteered for the project.

The Tourist Association said the launch of the project was timed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of Sweden becoming "the first country in the world to introduce a constitutional law to abolish censorship" in 1766.

So we’ll talk about that, we’ll get a Swedish take on American politics, we’ll talk taxes and we’ll find out why a self described “dark country” can routinely make the list of the happiest nations on earth.  It should be interesting and vi hoppas dig ska sammanfoga oss på radion!
