Yakima Shooting Gang Related Police Looking For Shooter

No suspects have been arrested but one person is dead and two others injured in a shooting on Cherry Avenue earlier this morning. Yakima Police were called to a home in the 3 hundred block of Cherry Avenue just after midnight. They found one man dead of a gunshot to the head and 2 others wounded. Police were told that suspects were in a house next door. Swat team members stormed the home but didn't make any arrests. Police say the shooting is related to Yakima's gangs. Light says the shooter approached the three while they were standing on the porch of the home. One woman and one man were taken to a local hospital. We don't know conditions. Police say they're looking for a person of interest in the homicide which was the third this year in the city of Yakima.
