The Yakima School District Board of Directors has appointed Graciela Lopez to replace Jim Scoggins who resigned earlier this month. The appointment was made Monday evening, November 21, after conducting interviews of three interested applicants.

Lopez, who is employed with the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic and has a son who attends middle school in the district, will take the oath of office on Friday, December 2.

Welcome Graciela!
