Yakima Police Searching For Two Suspects In Home Invasion Robbery

Yakima Police are searching for two suspects in a home invasion robbery reported early Wednesday morning at a home in the 1500 block of Fair Avenue. Spokesman Mike Bastinelli says a male and female suspect forced their way inside and the male fired a shot into the floor as the couple stole items from the home. "It appears the male and female used to live at the home and were kicked out a short time ago."
No injuries were reported. Police are now searching for the suspects who have been identified. The two face robbery and assault charges. The robbery was reported at about 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.
