Yakima Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

Yakima Police are investigating a fatal shooting reported at about 1:15 a.m. Friday at a bar in the 100 block of S 2nd St.

When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The unidentified man was taken to a Yakima hospital where he died at about 2:30 a.m.

An investigation lead officers to the lower valley where two suspects were arrested. The suspects, ages 21 and 27, were arrested near Wapato. They are being held in the Yakima County jail on murder charges.

Police are searching for more information. Anyone with information can help call the Yakima Police department detective division at 575-6212.
