Yakima Police-At 9:45 this morning Yakima police officers responded to the 1600 block S. 6th Ave for a reported burglary in progress. While responding to the location, officers spotted the suspect vehicle, a gray BMW, driving away from the scene. The vehicle attempted to elude officers when officers tried to stop the vehicle. The vehicle spun out of control at 3rd Ave and W. Prasch and the 3 suspects fled on foot. All 3 were apprehended a short distance away. One of the occupants exited the car, pointed a handgun at the victim, and took personal property from the victim. The victim was uninjured, and walked to school to report the incident.

Following an investigation, the 3 suspects were booked in the YCDOC/DH. Requested charges are robbery 1 and residential burglary.
