Yakima Para Legal Faces Child Rape Charges

Bail was set at one million dollars for a Yakima man who was arrested Thursday night on rape charges.  Yakima Police raided the house near Franklin Park of Travis Padgett, and what police found even shocked some veteran officers.   One officer said police fond what amounted to a sex room in the basement of the home.   A 14 year girl was found at the home and KIT news has learned that one of the alleged victims was Padgett own child.  Today Padgett made a preliminary appearance on rape and child rape charges.  His next court appearance is February 1st.  Padgett is a para legal who works for a private law practice.
