Yakima Man Killed In ATV Crash On Highway 12

An 18-year-old Yakima man was killed riding an ATV Wednesday as he was crossing Highway 12, five miles west of Yakima.

Troopers say Sean Casey was riding an ATV across Highway 12 from McLaughlin Road to Mapleway in the westbound lanes. His ATV was struck by a westbound vehicle on Highway 12 driven by a 46-year-old woman from Naches. She was injured and taken to a local hospital.

The crash, reported at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday remains under investigation.
