Yakima Man in Stable Condition After Being Shot During a Robbery

A 21-year-old man is in stable condition at a Yakima hospital after being shot during a robbery just before 10:00 last night in the 1200 block of Swan Avenue. Yakima Police say the man was sitting outside talking on the phone when the suspects pulled a gun and asked if he was in a gang and demanded his wallet. Then he was shot in the leg and hit in the head. He was able to get to his apartment where his family called police. The man was taken to a Yakima hospital where he was listed in stable condition last night. No suspects have been arrested.
