Yakima JAG Officer Cautions On Closing Gitmo

Local attorney and Army Reserve JAG Major Scott Brumback visited KIT Thursday to share his thoughts on the legality of bringing unlawful combatants from Guantanamo to the U.S. mainland. The mix of politics and the law make for some potentially “interesting” interpretations, but one thing is clear. The majority of Americans want “Gitmo” to remain open and as Maj. Brumback says, bringing detainees to the US might even help their cause.
