Yakima County Sheriff’s Deputies in Search of Terrace Heights Subway Robbery Suspect
A man with a knife robbed the Terrace Heights Subway store on Monday morning. Yakima County Sheriff’s deputies say The female clerk reported that while preparing to open for the day she responded to a knock at the back door believing that it was an early morning delivery. She was confronted by a male subject who was armed with a knife and demanded she open the safe and give him money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, with blue/green eyes, approximately 5’09” tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt and cap with the hooded covering his face, gray sweat pants and black shoes. The clerk described him as speaking with a stutter.
