The search for a new Yakima City Manager won't start until next year but on Tuesday night the City Council voted to begin what's called a separation agreement with City Manager Tony O'Rourke. Councilman Dave Ettl voted against the issue. Tom Dittmar and Maureen Adkison did not attend the meeting. O'Rourke was absent as well. His last day is expected to be December 31st. He has not however submitted a letter a resignation. The agreement allows the city to discuss the terms of O'Rourkes departure. The city isn't expected to search for a new city manager until early in 2016.
