Crews will be closing the route Nov. 4 to 6 for culvert repairs.

Crews will close White Pass from the SR 410/US 12 junction west of Naches to the US 12/SR 123 junction east of Packwood from 7 p.m. to midnight each night, Monday through Wednesday, November 4 to 6.

US 12 will be open to local traffic, but drivers will not be able to cross the washed out area located three miles east of White Pass. Drivers are encouraged to leave earlier, later or use alternate routes.

The nighttime closures will allow crews to restore a drainage structure. Crews are making  progress to restore the hillside below US 12 that washed out on October 1.

Traffic remains reduced to a single-lane alternating traffic through the 200-foot section just east of White Pass. Crews hope to reopen White Pass to two lanes by Thanksgiving.

Businesses along the US 12 corridor are open.
