Wapato a Step Closer to Paying Extra Car Tab Fee

Residents of Wapato are a step closer to paying a little more for road improvements. A twenty dollar fee for car tabs could be added. Wapato city leaders decided the transportation benefit area and will start a detailed plan on how the money will be used to improve the streets. A public meeting is schedule for the fall before the new fee takes effect.
