Walmart Shoppers Say It’s Time To Expand 64th Avenue

A big road project is expected to get the go ahead tonight from the Yakima City Council. A major expansion of South 64th Avenue, between Tieton Drive and Nob Hill Blvd. A majority of the work is paid for through Federal funding. The work is set to begin next year. The council tonight is expected to approve the projects' engineering work.
