The kids get a summer vacation, how about you?  If you do get vacation time, do you use it -- all of it? No? Welcome aboard, fellow workaholics!  A survey confirms that very few Americans with paid time off took all of their vacation days last year. Researchers found that 22 percent of those polled reported getting no paid vacation days or time off at all! That same Harris Poll of 2,000 American adults found that just 25 percent with paid time off took all of their vacation days in 2013, and 15 percent took none of their vacation days at all.

That’s us leaving a lot of relaxation and stress relief on the table. More than that, it’s not very European of us!

A report released last year found that the U.S. is the only highly developed nation that doesn't require employers to offer paid vacation time -- a sharp contrast to countries such as France or the U.K, where workers have more than three weeks of paid time off a year. (Yahoo)
