Two employees of a Yakima market were sentenced to federal prison Tuesday for food stamp fraud.

The U.S. attorney's office says they would make a withdrawal from the EBT card and split the money with the customer at the La Bodega-Yakimex market.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports Benjamin Ramirez Soberanes was sentenced to six months and Roberto Alcantar Medina to nearly a year. Both pleaded guilty in December to fraud charges. Medina was ordered to pay $315,000 in restitution.

The manager of the store, Manpreet Singh, was sentenced in September to two years in prison after pleading guilty.
