Travel Still Tough Across Washington Cascades

Cross state travel remains a challenge this morning as heavy snow and avalanche danger continue to threaten Cascade passes. Snoqualmie Pass is open Eastbound but Westbound remains closed this morning because of standing water, slides and debris on the road. Washington State Department of Transportation crews say the road will be evaluated at 9:00 a.m. to determine if it will reopen. Stevens Pass and White Pass are still closed. Both passes will be evaluated at 10:00 a.m. to determine if they'll reopen as well.
